 1.⁠ ⁠Acceptance of Terms:
* By booking and staying at Hakha Beach House (“the Property”), located at Rua Das Surfistas, 3, Tofinho, Inhambane, Mozambique 1300, you (“the Guest”) agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
* These Terms and Conditions form a binding contract between the Guest and Hakha Beach House (“the Host”).

 2.⁠ ⁠Booking and Payment:
* Bookings are made directly through the website hakhatofo.com.
* After a booking inquiry is made via the website, the Host will confirm the booking’s availability. Upon confirmation, the full booking amount is due.
* Payments are processed via IBAN bank transfer, Apple Pay, PayPal or credit/debit card. Payment instructions and details will be provided by the Host via email after the booking inquiry is confirmed.

 3.⁠ ⁠Check-in and Check-out:
* Check-in time is from 3:00 PM (15:00) and check-out time is 11:00 AM (11:00), unless otherwise agreed upon in writing by the Host.
* Instructions for check-in and other details will be provided via the reply email of the user booking inquiry.
* Late check-outs without prior authorisation may result in additional charges.

 4.⁠ ⁠Occupancy:
* The Property offers one master en-suite bedroom and one bedroom with two single beds with en-suite bathroom.
* The Property is intended for the use of the number of Guests specified in the booking.
* Unauthorized Guests are strictly prohibited.
* No Parties or events are allowed.

 5.⁠ ⁠Property Rules:
* Guests are expected to treat the Property with respect and to leave it in a clean and tidy condition.
* No smoking is allowed inside the Property. Smoking is permitted outside in designated areas only.
* Pets are allowed with prior agreement by the Host.
* Quiet hours are from 11PM to 7AM.
* Guests are responsible for adhering to all local laws and regulations.
* Guests are responsible for the safe operation of all appliances and amenities.
* Guests are responsible for locking all doors and windows when leaving the property.
* Guests are responsible for turning off all lights and appliances when leaving the property.
* Fire safety equipment is provided on the property. Guests should familiarise themselves with the location of this equipment upon arrival.

 6.⁠ ⁠Damage and Liability:
* Guests are responsible for any damage to the Property or its contents caused by them or their Guests during their stay, excluding normal wear and tear.
* The Host is not responsible for any loss, theft, or damage to the Guest’s personal belongings.
* The Host is not liable for any injuries sustained by the Guest during their stay, except in cases of gross negligence or wilful misconduct by the Host.
* Guests are responsible for reporting any existing damage upon arrival.
* Guests will be held responsible for costs associated with excessive cleaning due to negligence.

 7.⁠ ⁠Cancellation and Refunds:
* All bookings are non-refundable.
* If a cancellation is requested more than three weeks before the booking date, a change of date can be arranged, subject to availability.

 8.⁠ ⁠Access:
* The Host reserves the right to enter the Property for necessary maintenance, repairs, or in case of an emergency.
* The host will attempt to provide reasonable notice prior to entry, except in cases of emergency.

 9.⁠ ⁠Force Majeure:
* The Host shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations under these Terms and Conditions due to events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, acts of God, war, terrorism, or government regulations.

10.⁠ ⁠Governing Law:
* These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Mozambique.
